Don't Forget to Recharge Yourself!

What if we recharged ourselves as often as we did our phones?

You don't have to wait to hit the beach to get some much needed R & R! (Although I like this guy's style)



I used to wait until I was almost at 0% before I took the time to recharge. For some reason I needed to be in crisis mode in order to prioritize caring for my body, mind, and spirit.



Now I have an everyday routine that keeps me “plugged in”— moving my body, meditating, checking in with daily readers, taking baths, enjoying my extensive tea collection, doing self-Reiki, journaling, spending time in nature, singing, and making time for quality conversation with soul-nourishing friends. I definitely don’t do it all everyday and I’m gentle with myself on days I skip it completely, but I do try to make it a priority.


I also try to receive energy healing from other practitioners on a weekly or bi-monthly basis instead of waiting until I’ve reached emergency status.


It’s a bit of a self-investment but honestly it’s probably saved me a lot of money on medical bills. 😂



So even though sometimes self-care feels like a full-time job, my routine keeps me balanced which makes it soo much easier to handle challenges when they arise. 🙏🏻
